New replacement panels are 1/8" thick
black ABS plastic molded to original specifications. Bolt to cycle using
included hardware. Special fasteners are included for use, if needed. Repaint
them if you wish. These side covers are designed to fit U.S. models only.
If you're side covers have ever been stolen off your motorcycle, these are
an excellent replacement since they can be installed not to just pop off,
although you can also make them to pop off and on. To add a little style
when adding these side covers is to replace the bolts included with gold
or chrome acorn nuts or acorn bolts. Or paint the screw head black.

Mounting bolts: Phillips bolts into expandable
nut. Tighten as needed to prevent theft or to pull off like the originals.
Can be fitted with or without side cover grommets.

From one of our customers that owns a 1976 Kawasaki
Z900
I have now measured the holes for the right side panel of my z900 and compared them
with those on the picture that you sent me from KZ900.com.
The top measure was also 10 inches.
The right measures were 7.8 inches vs. your measure 8.5 inches.
The left measure were 6.5 inches vs. your measure 7 inches.
Also, the left side panel will fit but the right side will not.
