This set of decals & paint masks can
be used on the green or red fuel tank. Includes masks to
accurately paint stripe and
decals to apply the thin
white & black stripes.
Kawasaki logos also

The original graphics were
painted on the fuel tank of
the H1D & H1E.
Due to the complexity of the curves at the front of this fuel tank
and because this stripe wraps around the rear, it is not possible to create decals that
will fit correctly. The images above illustrate how our stripes are designed to conform
to the shape of the tank. It is well worth the time and effort to properly repaint this
fuel tank which is why we developed this kit to help enthusiasts restore their H1D / H1E
with the correct graphics. The paint masks are pre-cut to conform to the fuel tank,
allowing the wide stripe to be painted on. The next step is to apply the black & white
stripes which border the wide painted stripe. Kawasaki chose to paint these stripes
knowing that a decal would not work. If you want the best, painting this stripe is the
only way to get it right.
